For those of you who know, or have ever/will ever meet, someone who doubts the validity of the theory of Evolution I want to direct your attention to a couple of papers:
1) http://www.springerlink.com/content/whn1654v74t64301/?p=0054f2de7b384030ad1dce2a23a4b06f&pi=8
2) MACFADDEN, B. J. 2005. EVOLUTION: Fossil Horses--Evidence for Evolution. Science, 307(5716):1728-1730.
The first one I found today while reading one of the articles at a new favorite site of mine, http://www.scientificblogging.com/ but it pretty much discusses the evolution of whales, it also has pictures and isn't written very technically so we should all be able to understand it
The second one I heard from many sources that it was a must read and I agree. It is short and most of the points you already know but it is his beautiful figure that shows what horses lived when that shows the beauty of evolution. You can follow from bottom to top the evolutionary progression of the horse family.
Both of these are must reads even if you just want to get more educated but as I said highly recommended.
